Volunteers are the heart and soul of the American Red Cross; trained, dedicated people who help their neighbors prevent, prepare for and cope with emergencies. At the Jersey Coast Chapter, our volunteer base encompasses a broad array of people of all ages and backgrounds with one very important common bond-the desire to help. Whether teaching health & safety/disaster classes, providing administrative support, responding to local disasters, assisting our military men and women and their families, or donating blood, our volunteers unselfishly give of their time and talents to insure that we at the Jersey Coast Chapter can meet the needs of our community members But disaster response isn't all we do. There are so many ways you can help save lives. Be a hero and get involved!
