The Jersey Coast Chapter Youth Council was founded in March of 2003, with 8 members between the ages of 11 to 17 years of age. We have grown into a wonderful council of many intelligent, bright, hard working individuals, such as you.
We truly hope your experience with us will enhance your leadership abilities, help you realize your full potential, help you take a positive initiative towards your future and be positive role models.
We lead and support Red Cross units by promoting the importance of and the respect for youth and youth involvement through;

The American Red Cross educates, encourages, and empowers youth to be role models in their communities so that as current and future leaders, they can further the mission and fundamental principles of the Red Cross and touch more lives nationwide and around the world.
How to Get Started
To become one of our Youth Council members just follow these simple steps.
1) Print the Youth Volunteer & Parent Permission application
2) Complete and sign application, please make sure your parent sign application as well
3) Bring signed application to our Youth Orientation
- Youth orientations are held the third Wednesday of every month
At 5:00pm in our headquarters, 1540 West Park Avenue, Tinton Falls.
4) Attend you first Youth Council Meeting at 6:00pm
- Youth Council meeting start at 6:00pm, following the Youth Orientation on the third Wednesday
of every month in our headquarters, 1540 West Park Avenue, Tinton Falls
