Coastal Community Business Partner Program


To build the baseline budget and capacity for disaster response, the Red Cross is asking local companies to join a distinguished group of like-minded investors in the Coastal Community Business Partners Program. Coastal Community Business Partners are a select group of businesses that make an annual financial commitment of a specified amount each year to support the mission of the Red Cross. This investment will yield the following returns:

  • Making sure your Red Cross staff and volunteers in Monmouth and Ocean counties are trained properly and thoroughly to be able to respond to any type of local disaster.
  • Making sure your Red Cross computer technology is up to date and portable enough to allow for rapid response and coordinated assistance to victims.
  • Ensuring your local Red Cross Chapter has the communications capability to interface properly with local, state, and federal response agencies during a crisis.
  • More local, multicultural community trainings to prepare families, helping them create their own disaster supply kits and family placs for an emergency.
  • Stronger chapter programs which further reinforce our community level of preparedness for crisis, such as Blood Services, Armed Forces Emergency Services, and our Youth Training Programs.
  • Greater awareness of important local and National Red Cross services your community, your business, and your family can receive.

Why Should My Company Be A Coastal Community Business Partner?

As a Coastal Community Business Partner, your company would receive the following benefits:

  • Prominent display of your company logo on our Chapter website, on our monthly E-Newsletter, and our Annual Report.
  • Participation for your company in invitation-only events, including our Annual Meeting, Special Briefings for Businesses (before, during and after disaster response), and Recognition/Networking Events.
  • A Bronze Sponsorship at our Annual Gala or a Corporate/Birdie Foursome at the Red Cross Annual Golf Classic.
  • Listing of your company in (and receipt of) a Directory of Coastal Community Business Partners.
  • Prominent Advertisement in local newspaper once a year, designed to specially recognize your company as a participant in this unique program.
  • 10% discount on all Health & Safety equipment and trainings for your employees in areas such as CPR, First Aid and AED usage.
  • Free on-site trainings twice a year for your staff in disaster preparedness and volunteering with the American Red Cross.
  • Opportunity to host a blood drive on site at your facility of through our Mobile Blood Services Unit.
  • American Red Cross Information sets on local disaster preparedness (winter storms, floods, power outages) that can be used for your company newsletter or for distribution through paycheck inserts, etc.

All benefits are optional and may be accepted or declined as desired by each donor.
