Timothy Carson of Jackson - Emergency Response Hero

Coming from a family line of firefighters, Timothy Carson is proud and honored to say that he is a firefighter. A native of Lindenhurst NY fire department from a young age, Tim moved up the ladder and served as a firefighter and EMT; while also serving on numerous committees extending his expertise in emergency response.

He has been awarded “Firefighter of the Year,” and received a pre-hospital save award for successfully resuscitating an adult female suffering from cardiac arrest. After moving to Jackson, NJ, Tim joined the Larson Road firehouse where he served in many leadership positions, and is now Assistant Chief of the company.

His community heroism was highlighted in a moment when Tim saved an unconcious woman from a structure fire with the help of fellow firefighters. The woman then stopped into the firehouse after her recovery to say “thanks,” which really hit home with Tim.

We are so proud of him as a member of our community for all of his emergency response actions and courageous efforts.
