Theresa Ross of South Toms River - Blood Advocate Hero

True life saver Theresa Ross is always willing to donate her rare O-negative type blood for our community members in need. Always accountable, Theresa has never said no to donating in a blood drive and understands the importance of how her donation can save lives.

As a full time employee at Community Medical Center’s St. Barnabas Health Care for 25 years, Theresa has held many positions. 101 pints of blood have been donated through our Blood Advocate Theresa, equaling 12 gallons, essentially saving 300 lives. Theresa served on the First Aid Squad and is involved within South Toms River volunteer efforts around the town. She also makes quilts, which then go to cancer patients whom are going through treatments.

Always encouraging others to donate and to become their own hero, she supports the Red Cross mission by urging the community to do so as well. As a reliable donor who loves giving to others through her blood donation and volunteerism within her local community, Theresa’s example will shine as a blood advocacy supporter.
