Retired U.S. Air Force Captain Don Marshall is the very deserving recipient of our Armed Forces Hero Award. His combat time was in the Persian Gulf, where he served and held several high-ranking positions. Captain Don Marshall has been awarded several medals for his courage and strength including the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, among many others.

Upon retirement, Don became a Local Veterans Employment Representative with the New Jersey Department of Labor and has held various management positions. In 2000 another honor came after being selected by the governor of NJ to serve has the Director of Veterans Affairs Programs and Services for the NJ Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Don is involved with many Veteran’s organizations today.
